Never lose the story of what happened

A host went down at 3am and recovered before anyone noticed. Without a record, that's a mystery forever. With ProbeScope's persistent history, it's a query.

Every up, every down, kept

Point --db at a file and ProbeScope quietly builds a complete, queryable record of every host's uptime, downtime, and latency — across every session, not just the one you're currently watching. It survives restarts, reboots, and weeks between checks.

Your data, your tools

It's a plain SQLite file. No proprietary format, no vendor lock-in, no separate dashboard to learn — open it with any SQL tool you already know and ask exactly the question you need answered: "how often did this host flap last week?", "what was our worst outage this month?", "is latency trending up?"

Built to last, not to bloat

Old records age out automatically according to your plan, so the database stays lean without you having to think about it — while you're actively monitoring, it's always there.
